Our weekly vendors include:

Axis Produce

A long-established micro-greens farm, Axis Produce began as East Branch Ginger over a decade ago. In late 2023 Stephanie Jones purchased the business and rebranded it Axis Produce.

Our operation is a balance between technology and nature, between our intentions as producers and the needs and creativity of our customers.

We are very proud to grow micro-greens this way and to be part of Chatham County's rich rural heritage. Our greens are always fresh and long-lasting. They require minimal processing and are an excellent choice if you have little time to cook. They go great on carry-out, and kiddos love to snack on sunflower shoots. Help us minimize waste and single-use plastic use by signing up for a CSA and/or pre-ordering with our web store.

Barbara's Haw River Wild Flower Honey

Barbara is a North Carolina Beekeepers Association certified beekeeper & honey producer, member of the Chatham County Beekeepers Association. Her delicious honey and honey products are raised and made on land bordering the Haw River in Chatham County.

Irish Bakers Gluten Free Desserts

My first try at baking was learning how to make Irish bread! Irish bread wasn’t just for St. Patrick’s Day in my house. We celebrated holidays and special occasions with lots of love, laughter and a big slice of Irish bread!

As someone who needs to follow a gluten free diet, I understand the challenges of finding tasty treats. I began creating gluten free pastries and breads after attending gluten free baking courses at the Culinary Institute of America in New York.

Strict guidelines are practiced when preparing our gluten free desserts using separate equipment and baking pans. I’m a resident of Briar Chapel and always look forward to seeing my neighbors at the market!

Loverthina’s Salsa

At Loverthina’s Salsa, every salsa is made with the freshest ingredients—no added sugar, no artificial preservatives—just pure, delicious goodness! Sharing her creations brings supreme salsa-maker Jolanda true joy, especially when she sees people savoring every bite.

Loverthina’s is a locally owned salsa business passionate about bringing fresh, flavorful, handcrafted salsa to our community. We love meeting new customers at the market and sharing products made with quality ingredients and a whole lot of care. Being part of Briar Chapel has been such a wonderful experience, and we truly appreciate the support from the community.

We offer six delicious salsa flavors, all made fresh in a commercial kitchen using natural ingredients and no artificial preservatives. Our gourmet salsas are handcrafted in small batches to deliver bold flavor and freshness in every jar. Whether you like mild, smoky, sweet, or extra spicy, we have something for everyone to enjoy.

Rocky River Hemp

Rocky River Hemp grows hemp under USDA License and produces Full Spectrum CBD products that address adult health issues on a small family farm in Chatham County .

Rick Brownfield and his son, Sam Brownfield, decided to start a hemp business on Rick’s Chatham County farm when Sam and his wife Katie, were considering moving back to Sam’s North Carolina roots. Hemp had been recently made legal in North Carolina, and the NC Hemp Commission was licensing farmers to grow hemp following the program established by the Federal 2018 Farm Bill. In 2019 Rick obtained a license to grow hemp. After several years of experimenting with different varieties of hemp, they selected the BaOx cultivar to increase production volume using plants that always were under the .3% Total THC limit.

Rocky River Hemp was chartered as a NC corporation in July, 2020, and began with a single product, the 1200 mg Full Spectrum CBD infusion. Our wide range of products are sold at seven Farmers’ Markets in the area, at retail locations in Carrboro and Chapel Hill, and online.

Woodland Farm

At Woodland Farm we encourage our animals to use their instincts to graze, wander, root and dig - not only because it makes them happy, but because it’s good for the soil and improves the forage that they eat.  Our breed selections and farming practices make for healthier animals, raised naturally. The result is full-flavored meats which are better tasting and nutritionally sound. We want you to know the meat you eat is happy, healthy, good for the land, and good for you.

Try our field-raised lamb, pastured pork cuts and sausages, duck eggs, or the Farm Wife’s Hog Wash soap. Stop by and taste what we’re sampling this week.

Pre-order before 10am for same day market pick up. Email WoodlandFarmNC@gmail.com to reserve yours!

Zephyr Family Farm

Zephyr Family Farm began 5 years ago on leased land in Apex as our Covid pivot. Through hard work, a little luck, and support from our customers we were able to purchase and move to our forever farm in Roxboro two years ago.

We grow year-round using only natural methods, with soil health as our core value. Our greenhouses, sunlight, and careful management allow us to grow heirloom tomatoes throughout the year in the ground. In addition to traditional market fare, we also grow many heirloom and drought resistant vegetables.

You can find our Certified Naturally Grown vegetables or pick up your CSA at the Briar Chapel, Pittsboro, and Western Wake Farmers Markets
